A programme of early intervention encourages all children in the School to achieve their maximum potential. Any difficulties identified by the class teacher are discussed with parents and the teacher in charge of Progress Studies. Where necessary, parents may be advised to seek further advice from an external source. On application to Vita et Pax, it is the responsibility of parents to advise the school of any known difficulties in order that we may be able to assess our ability to manage the learning environment for each child.
Learning support may be delivered on a one-to-one or small group basis as some children develop at a slower pace than others and may need a greater degree of support in the Infants. Most children are then more equipped to cope with the demands of the Junior curriculum.
