On Saturday 19th September 2026, Vita et Pax Preparatory School celebrated 90 years of education in Southgate.
Founded in 1936, the school has grown from its first classrooms on Bramley Road and Heddon Court to our home at Priory Close — still carrying the name Life and Peace, and still a family school at the heart of the community.
The afternoon, from 12 noon until 4pm, brought together current families, former pupils and friends of the school. It was a chance to look back on nine decades of teaching, and to look ahead to the next chapter.
Thank you to everyone who came, helped and made the day feel like a true family reunion. Here’s to the next 90 years.
