At Vita et Pax Preparatory School in Enfield, North London, we are dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child, both academically and through extracurricular activities. On Friday, 11th October, selected students from Years 5 and 6 had the exciting opportunity to represent our school at a cross country competition held at Forty Hill Estate in Enfield. This event saw 27 schools from the area competing, with 130 children participating overall.
The cross country course was challenging, testing not only the endurance and stamina of the participants but also their perseverance and determination. We are incredibly proud of all our runners, who showed great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the competition. Our Head Girl had a particularly impressive performance, finishing 9th overall, a fantastic achievement among such a large and competitive field.
Our girls’ team placed 13th overall, demonstrating resilience and a strong team spirit. The boys’ team also gave their best efforts, securing 20th place. Vita et Pax Prep School finished 15th overall in the competition, a solid result considering the number of schools involved.
At Vita et Pax Prep School, we believe in encouraging our students to strive for excellence in all areas, whether in the classroom or on the sports field. Competitions like this one provide our pupils with valuable opportunities to challenge themselves, develop their physical fitness, and learn important life skills such as teamwork, determination, and perseverance.
We are extremely proud of all our participants and look forward to continuing to support and nurture their potential in future events. Our school’s strong performance is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.
