Vita et Pax Preparatory School Celebrates Sports Day in Epic Style
Vita et Pax Preparatory School in Enfield, North London, brought the whole school community together in spectacular style for its annual Sports Day – a much-anticipated event filled with energy, excitement, and family spirit. The day began with a lively parade as pupils proudly marched to Saracens Field on Green Road, led by house flag bearers. Each child was dressed in a vibrant new house T-shirt and matching cap, representing one of the school’s four core houses: Endeavour, Faith, Charity, and Hope.
The youngest members of the school – Nursery and Pre-Prep – opened the day’s events with a selection of traditional races including the sprint, egg-and-spoon, obstacle course, and sack race. These races, filled with laughter and encouragement, were made even more special by the support of our nurturing Year 6 pupils, who helped guide and cheer on their younger peers. Parents and staff joined in with enthusiastic applause, creating a warm, community-focused atmosphere.
As the morning progressed, the Prep School children took to the field with energy and determination. Events included classic races such as the sprint and egg-and-spoon, as well as high-energy activities like the relay and tug of war. Each house competed with passion and sportsmanship, displaying the values that Vita et Pax instils in all its pupils.
Of course, Sports Day wouldn’t be complete without the ever-popular parents’ races, which saw mums and dads lining up to show off their running skills to the delight of their children and teachers alike.
