Vita et Pax Pupils Shine at Queenswood Young Writers’ Activity Morning
At Vita et Pax Preparatory School, we are delighted to share the exciting news of our students’ recent visit to Queenswood School for the Queenswood Young Writers’ Activity Morning, held as part of the much-celebrated Queenswood Literary Festival.
This wonderful event brought together young writers from across north London and surrounding areas, providing an enriching platform for students to explore the power of words, imagination, and creative expression. We were incredibly proud to see our pupils taking part in such an inspiring celebration of literature and storytelling.
The day was packed with stimulating activities designed to nurture confidence and creativity in writing. A highlight of the morning was a captivating poetry workshop led by the dynamic and engaging Professor Pango Mango, who encouraged the children to unlock their creativity and express themselves through rhythm and verse. His workshop was a memorable experience that left our pupils feeling empowered and excited about writing.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Queenswood School for welcoming our pupils so warmly and providing such a supportive environment in which young voices could thrive. Experiences like these reflect the family values and strong community spirit that underpin everything we do at Vita et Pax.
We were also thrilled that the incredible work of some of our pupils was recognised with special invitations and commendations at the event — a testament to the talent and hard work they put into crafting their poems.
At Vita et Pax, we are committed to nurturing potential and empowering every child to develop their unique voice. As a leading north London preparatory school in Enfield, we believe that opportunities to participate in literary and creative events like this are invaluable. They not only inspire children to become confident communicators but also deepen their appreciation for the written word.
We congratulate all of our participating pupils for representing our school so beautifully and for embracing the challenge of creative expression with such enthusiasm and skill. We can’t wait to see where their literary journeys take them next!
