Mr. Pushkar Acharya has over 20 years of experience in Distressed and Event Driven Credit Trading, Investment, and Restructuring. He currently trades at the global hedge fund Capula, focusing on the Western European and US bond markets. Before joining Capula, Pushkar worked at the US hedge fund Point72 in their London office in a similar role and previously served as head trader at NatWest Markets, overseeing over $1 billion in capital.
Mr. Acharya has extensive experience in handling distressed businesses, orchestrating their reorganization through financial and operational restructuring.
He was invited by the UK government as a British Chevening Scholar from India to pursue his MSc in Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London, graduating with First Class Distinction.
